#7. Library of Congress
The Library of Congress doesn't contain every book ever published, but you'd be forgiven for thinking it holds most of them. It holds more than 115 million items displayed on 532 miles of shelving. While the contents are amazing, the building itself is easily one of the most beautiful in Washington.
