Montego Bay is the second largest city in Jamaica and it's a fun city to visit. Boasting three pristine beaches, great restaurants, good shopping and fun nightlife, there are some glorious views from the streets of Montego Bay out over the ocean.
#2. Barrett Adventures
If you're an adventure-lover, then you must book a tour with Barrett Adventures. Head out to the Rio Bueno River for some white-water rafting and move on to the gorgeous Secret Falls. Your tour guide will point out many interesting historical and cultural locations during your hiking trip along gorgeous rivers and ravines that you might have otherwise missed.
#3. Wilderness ATV Tours
Take a Wilderness Tour up to Murphy's Hill and enjoy the stunning view. You'll head out to the glorious Dunns River Falls next. Stop for lunch on the way. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing as you'll be riding ATV, so it gets dusty!
#4. Jamaica Zipline Adventure Tours
The Zip Tour lasts around 2 hours and you need to be sure you're wearing comfortable hiking shoes/boots and clothing to participate. The tour will take you up the mountain from Montego Bay and into the jungle. Take a walk over the ravine from the suspension bridge and then enjoy the spectacular views as you soar among the tree tops on the zip line. Excellent.
#5. White Witch Golf Club
Play a few rounds at this stunning golf club. Not only is the view absolutely glorious, but the golf is great too. The elevation changes mean you could be at one level for one hole, but the next could be 150ft below you. This is an amazing way to enjoy a day in the Caribbean.
#6. Hooves Horseback Tours
The best way to really experience a trek along pristine beaches is on horseback. To help cool the horses down, they're led into the ocean - with you still on them. Ideal for beginners and more experienced riders alike, you'll begin your trek at the top of the hill and meander your way down to the sandy beaches.
#7. Rainforest Bobsled
The Mystic Mountain tour offers a bit of excitement as well as a brilliant way to enjoy your day. You're taken up the mountain in a lift and make your way back down again via bobsled. The sleds are controllable, so if you don't want to race to the bottom as fast as you can go, you can slow yourself down. Head back up and do it all again, or take the zip line down and fly among the tree tops if you prefer.
#8. Coyaba River Gardens
Coyaba is the Arawak word for paradise and it's certainly the right name to describe these gorgeous topical gardens. There's a museum in the grounds showing some pre-Columbian artifacts that really give you a sense of the history here. Keep any eye open for the peacocks strutting around the grounds.
#9. Rose Hall Great House
This gorgeous English-style historic mansion set amid a sugar cane plantation has been lovingly restored and opened to the public. It was also once the home of the mysterious Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall, who was purported to have murdered three husbands and countless slaves. These brutal murders gave rise to the belief that the house is haunted. The views down to the ocean from the house are breath taking!
#10. Dolphin Cove
If you've ever wanted to swim in warm tropical waters alongside the dolphins, then this could be your opportunity. Head on down to Ocho Rios for your chance to swim with the wild dolphins.
